Foldable Intra Ocular Lens


A cataract is a clouding of the eye's lens. When a cataract is removed during surgery, surgeon actually removes the natural lens of eye. Then surgeon places an artificial lens into the eye. This helps it to rightly focus. Choosing the right implant can make all the difference in the world regarding the patient's visual outcome.
Implant (IOL) can provide most of the focusing power for the patient's eye. Implant materials and designs have evolved over a period of time. LENS DELIVERY SYSTEMS

Devine provides the lens delivery system which work with small incision and smooth delivery of lenses into the capsular bag. Our delivery system assures about overcoming contamination and possibility of posterior chamber opacification. It also rule out possibility of postoperative infections.

This is a basic type of signal piece monofocal biconvex fordable intraocular lens. This implant have a flexible optic with zero degree angulation. It is made from HEMA UV blocking material. This intraocular lens can be placed into eye through a self-sealing incision.

The innovative Square Edge design creates a physical barrier to cell migration. The material used for manufacturing this lens is HEMA with UV blocking effect. It greatly reduces the Posterior Capsule Opacification (PCO) risk by ensuring proper contact of the Posterior capsule with the rear surface of the Lens for optimal sealing affect.

ASPHERIC SQUARE EDGE LENS

Recent studies proves that there is a significantly significant between group difference in contrast sensitivity of spherical and aspheric IOL designs. Contrast sensitivity was better under mesopic conditions with aspheric IOL. Devine Aspheric optics improves optic function by correcting the positive spherical aberration present in the normal cornea resulting in better visual acuity. At the same time, Square edge design provides an advance line of defence against PCO.
